About My Art History

 

In the Visual Arts program, my favorite types of media are linocuts and painting, but there are none that I dislike. One of the things I like about Visual Arts is that we have the ability to choose multiple aspects of our projects, and that we cover many different aspects of art. Currently, the main skills I am trying improve are having clean brush strokes when I paint, and paying attention to detail when I work on any project. 

One of the best projects was the cardboard cutout project in 7th grade, because the process was interesting and it required multiple different skills to complete. One of the more challenging projects was the pointillism shoe project, because it took way longer than all of the other projects, but still required great attention to detail to make the shades right. All of the projects we have done have been interesting and have helped us learn and improve our design skills.
